problem with Ducky Shine 3

I have searched around extensively and have not found anyone with the exact problem I am experiencing, and have not found a solution that has worked for me yet.

The Problem
occasionally my Ducky shine will freeze for maybe .3 seconds and will not accept any input. After this delay it will enter around 7 of the previously pressed key in a row. The keyboard seems to work as long as I have the LED turned off (but this was a major selling point to me in the Ducky Shine)

What I've Tried
I have seen many problems/solutions posts that I have tried. I have tried resetting the keyboard (with windows keys) I have reset the computer. I have made sure the removable USB is plugged in tightly. I have updated to the latest firmware. I have tested on multiple computers. I have checked keyboard setting to make sure nothing weird such as filter keys is enabled. I have done FN+F1 and FN+F5.

I really am in love with this keyboard, I just would really like to be able to use the pretty LED lights that are built into it.

This keyboard of yours does the same thing on all the computers you've tried it on?

Sounds like a fault somewhere, I have not heard of this happening before, and my Ducky Shine 3 is fine.

Yes it happens on both computers I have tried on. The weirdest part about it is that it only happens when the LEDs are on. Have not tried on the snake, ripple mode, etc. because I have no desire to use them. I did send an Email to their customer support team but since it is the weekend it will probably be a little while before I hear back from them.

Could be too much current drain causing the keyboard to reset itself, somehow causing buffering of keystrokes.

What would cause that, I'm not sure.  Faulty controller?  Short circuit?

In any case it would probably be covered by warranty.

Would any mini USB cable work with my Ducky so I could tell if its just a faulty cable?

I have the same issue, even down to being fixed with lights off.
