Custom keycaps similar to ducky blue and grey with backlighting
« on: Sun, 12 October 2014, 07:25:14 »
So i just bought my new keyboard.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823129035.. and i am looking for custom keycaps. I would like to do a similar setup as this ducky http://www.duckychannel.com.tw/en/Ducky_Premier_DK9008P_bu+gy.html. I would also like the wsad and 12345 to be blue. my problem is that i want the keys to be backlite compatiable. if i got to choose a preference i would like rougher keys opposed to smooth glossy keys. From all my searces i haven't been able to find what i want so i was hoping someone could help point me in the right direction.

As far as I've ever seen what you want doesn't exist.

I don't recall having seen any blue backlight-friendly keycaps.

Only black, white, pink, purple and gray.  And all but one set of those were Ducky ABS (the last set being that Vortex PBT set).
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
