How does the HHKB feel?  Is it something like the lite or are we talking completely different feels here?

The PD-KB02 is just rubber dome. It honestly feels quite bad, it's more of a collector's novelty if anything.

You guys, buy these 122s! At $20 they are worth it even if just for spare parts! But all it takes is a little elbow grease and you've got a nice board to scare people with.

I bought two. I restored & screw-modded one of them and I'm currently in the process of turning the other one into some kind of franken-saver thing, a 60% with 24+10 F-keys!

I seem to be on a 122 collection spree at the moment.

What would postage be to Australia for one of these (he asked, with a due sense of dread)?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Glad that it arrived safely. :)

Shipping to Australia would be around $60.

I still have probably 10 or 15 M122s, so there are plenty to go around. :))

Unicomp received!  Thank you!  Packaged very well too!  :thumb:

This is an absolute steal on a buckling spring keyboard.  It feels just the same as my IBM Model M (even if the keys and whatnot are of a different quality) and works fantastic with any computer right out of the box.  At $20, you can't go wrong because you can easily get your money back out of it if it's not for you and want to resell it.  Highly recommended.
