@abjr: Thanks for the review. I agree with you about the coating and to some extent about the lack of a CapsLock LED.
However, regarding the connector, I have become accustomed to using 60% boards that usually have a flush-mount mini-USB connector on the rear of the case, although it is usually on the left (as you face the keyboard) or near the center. Because I swap out keyboards fairly frequently, I don't want to have cable routing, and I find it difficult to connect and disconnect the cable from a recessed area on the underside of the keyboard.
Therefore, I found it refreshing when using the Novatouch to have the connector easily accessible on the rear of the case and not having to undo the cable routing when switching out keyboards. Nevertheless, I understand that many people apparently really like to have the connector on the underside of the case with cable routing.
I understand CM's rationale for choosing a micro-USB connector (it is supposedly longer-lived than a mini-USB connector), but because most of my keyboards use mini-USB, I needed to keep a micro-USB cable handy when connecting the Novatouch. On balance, though, I like CM's choice of connector and its location on the keyboard.
