name this IBM keyboard
« on: Thu, 23 October 2014, 20:11:20 »

Saw this posting on craigslist in my area for $50.00  Their only contact is phone :( (I hate talking on the phone, even to family).  Was hoping someone could identify this from the poor picture.

edit:  They say the computer is a 3270.

It looks like an old IBM 8088. My mother had one...I wish I still had that keyboard...

Buy it. That is a beauty, even if the keyboard is a bust. The strange yellowing makes me think that it is not IBM, I can't really remember any true blue gear that I have bought that has yellowed.
"We are on the precipice of signing an agreement to advance talks with Iran that preserves the good parts of former President Barack Obama’s Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) while amplifying its flaws.
Mr. Obama came to an agreement that did not involve America’s most precious treasure, the lives and limbs of our soldiers.  The 1.7 billion dollars of frozen Iranian assets released by Obama pales in comparison to the 300 billion being floated as a rebuilding fund.
So far, speculation that Iran will be free in the future to continue its nuclear program is the opposite of Trump’s stated goal for the war and in direct opposition to what Mr. Obama negotiated.

Seems like a good deal but honestly I wouldn't even know what to do with the computer.  You bring up a good point about the yellowing though.  The cord now that I look at it doesn't look very IBM'ish either.

I got MSDOS 6 to run on an 8088 when I was much younger.
Quoting me causes a posting error that you need to ignore.

the profile/color of that keyboard does not look like it's from the original IBM manufacture which was thicker and same color as the pc.
