The only laptop keyboard I like is the MacBook's keyboard. It has not flex. I hate keyboard flex on laptops. But, once I got into mechanical keyboards, I prefer to use my external keyboards instead.
I totally understand your feeling. In April, I was away for 3 weeks, and was very happy to see my keyboards when I came back home. I was thankful that the MacBook keyboard was a decent one to type on. I thought about taking my Cherry keyboard with me, but it was not an option. Traveling with a baby is not the same as traveling on your own.
