I just finished my screenplay!
« on: Sun, 19 July 2009, 16:02:49 »

The first draft took me a month and a half to write. It's 92 pages of action / horror goodness. I am planning on doing a total rewrite for the second draft on the HHKB Pro2 in Final Draft. I bought a copy of that software the last time I wrote a screenplay and it is really nice — it is afterall the industry standard script software, but I have the last version.

I'm not used to writing this big a project so quick, but I like it. I wrote the entire thing on typewriters; most of it was written on my girl Page:

Well done!

Don't cash those chips in yet.

My wife's are better, and I think I might go cash them in right now ...

Congratulations.  Finishing such a project is always a great feeling.

Out of curiosity, what's the title?

"Night of the Living Dead Rubber Domes"?

Home/Work:  Custom Filco FKBN87Z/EB and SGI 041-0136-001 chimera (original white ALPS, not simplified, rubber-dampened)
Gaming:  Wolfking Warrior with custom-colored layout, HHKB Lite 2 (Rubber dome)

The second draft is next, then during the next term at school me and one of my profs are going to work on it and get it ready and she is going to show it to her agents for option or sale.

True, and a good point. She has been working with me on horror and the like for years and she still cringes at every gore scene.
