hi from denver
« on: Wed, 26 November 2014, 13:24:10 »
hey everyone,

i'm relatively new to mechs, but over the past month my interest in them has grown dramatically. i've been typing on a Razer BlackWidow w/ MX Blues for quite sometime, but never really thought too much of it. recently i purchased a KBParadise v60 w/ MX clears and i'm patiently (or rather, trying to be patient) waiting for it to arrive.

looking forward to being part of the community after lurking here for the past week. hope to make some friends and talk about keyboards and stuff.

Welcome!

Is your avatar the album cover of one of Tycho's albums?

I'm also new, but I just wanted to say I love Tycho as well. I saw them at the Electric Forest festival here in Michigan last summer and their set was amazing. One of the best sets of the festival for sure.

Welcome!

Welcome to Geekhack!

I hope your keyboard arrives soon, if it hasn't already.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
