Black PBT universal/nonstandard space for steelseries
« on: Wed, 03 December 2014, 04:15:44 »
I've been trying to refit my Steelseries g7 (UK !) , as many have done before me.

ISO PBT Doubleshot for Steelseries 6g/7g

I gave up on getting doubleshot and bought a Ducky PBT Laser Etched set.

I've bought an g7 compatible enter key from Berserkfan and some spares that should fill in for the short backspace key, that hopefully should be here soon.

But I hit upon the unexpected problem that the Ducky set mounting pins are not in the same place as the g7.
Ducky key at the bottom.

Lots of posts seemed to suggest messaging qtan was the way to go, I've tried this (possibly twice, I didn't think the first one sent) but I guess he's busy

So, can anyone sell me a universal/nonstandard black PBT spacebar that would fit in with the Ducky set, and fit the g7 properly?

Many thanks.

Looks like the same stab spacings used on Leopold FC200/FC7*0 series spacebars. If I ever got a Steelseries, I would have a new plate cut to fix some of the issues... the PCB does support more standard key, and I have no idea why they only did it so on the Japanese version
