IBM Keyboard ID and worth?

Hi everyone, I'm going on a trip this weekend, and I have some time to kill while I'm there, and I found this on the local CL and was thinking about taking a look at it if you guys can answer some questions.

This is a IBM model F right?

On a modern computer, do the upper row of keys and the ones to the left of the keyboard do anything?

The guy is asking for an offer, about what would be the fair market value of something like this?

It's a 122 key model M.   They're on ebay all the time, anywhere from $20 up.

That is a first-generation Model M 122-key terminal board. The case is considered desirable (by me, anyway) because it can easily be made to fit the Model F-122 which often sees case damage.

You will need a converter such as "Soarer's converter" with a breakout board like a Teensy. That will activate all the keys. It would make a fun project.

Since you would not have to pay shipping, it is probably worth $30-40 on ebay, but I would start at about $20.

well really if I have to do a bunch to it I may just pass and find a regular M.

I've been wanting one, but not enough to go online to buy one, as I wouldn't use it hardly ever and would use it more as a toy than a DD

If you don't mind the Enter and Left Shift keys, then one of Orihalcon's cables makes it pretty much plug & play.
