Got my tools today.

I tried them on a switch tester and they fit a little tight, but work  :thumb:

Thanks again Beast.

Tools arrived today. I tested them briefly on my Phantom and they work great! 100x easier than the bent up binder clips I've been using.

Thanks for all your hard work, The_Beast!

When I use these tools, I just open one side and then block it off from closing and open the other.
It's not quite as clean as I would like, however this seems to be the best way to not damage anything.
Although I have never tried this with new switches

You should be able to use both at once. Again, make sure both are fully seated as far as they can go in the switch top and apply even presure so that one of the prongs doesn't pop out. It might take a little practice to get decent at.

Got mine, and they are awesome. The finish is flawless and the grinds and bending are perfect. They don't look "handmade", unless they were made by the hands of a Terminator. Freaking awesome. Can't wait to lay into my harvested clears with these!
I'm back.

Were these cut with waterjet or laser?

Laser. I sanded and sandblasted the edges to take some of the striation, common with laser cutting, away.

I'm glad everyone is getting their tools just fine.. I was hoping it would take longer to finish, no funds during Christmas time.  These look awesome!

haha that's actually what prompted me to ask. Looking at the edges of these tools, they looked noticeably different than the laser cut plates I've got and was wondering if maybe they had been cut with a waterjet.

Feels great, but having a bit of trouble opening up switches that aren't fixed or mounted.

I just picked up mine. The quality in person is even higher than what it looks like in the photos. I can't bare the thought of having to bend a binder clip instead of using these. Thanks The_Beast.

They've all been gone for a while.
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done

Man you got my hopes up, haha. I saw this back on the front page and was like OH SNAP! womp womp  :(

My DIY binder clip version works well enough it just doesn't seem to bite when I do it from the top of the switch, I can only come in from the bottom and it pops them quick. Good enough for my upcoming lube job but these TI guys would be awesome.
