Time for you Topre fans to duke it out

$50 opening bid for Topre? You know it won't last! Hehheh, I've thrown another fox into the henhouse... I expect the bidding to get pretty hot soon.

He's selling it because he doesn't like the tilde key? Who on earth uses the tilde key so often that the fact that it is not conveniently placed on a keyboard actually makes you want to stop using it?

Actually the biggest issue with the tilde key on the 660C/M is that you can't use ctrl+shift+esc to bring up task manager. This is because shift + esc = ~. I fixed this by creating an autohotkey script to bring up task manager when ctrl+shift+~ is pressed, but I guess it's too much of an annoyance for some.

Also I guess ` is a little inconvenient since it's fn + shift + esc.

Yeah that's an alternative, but it's just a little more work. ;)

And yeah, FC660C is my new favorite keyboard. Great layout, great typing experience.

The `~  Key is nice to be dedicated for games like CS:GO where you can put out the game console to input or view commands...

It's also one of the reason why I game on a TKL over a 60%.  :-\ :-X

Of course for normal use both are fine and dandy...  :p :thumb:

in windows ctrl + alt+ delete doesn't always bring up task manager. You can configure it to do other things. As a result, I use ctrl+shift+escape for tskmgr as a precaution on every windows computer I use.

ctrl+shift+esc master race reporting in.  And since 9 times out of 10 you want task manager, why not save yourself those extra clicks.

Doesn't everyone use ctrl-shift-esc to bring up task manager?

Can't you just swap the tilde key to another key in the options?
