Hey Geekhack,

Nothing much to say but I am Dyaems, whichs is a misspelled James and I only use those two usernames in forums, but mostly the former since James is a pretty common name.

I only own a HHKB PRO JP since i am used to its layout because my old membrane keyboard is also using that layout. I can use the usual layouts though since I am using a generic keyboard in my office! Oh, I also own a yellow Realforce 108KT as my replacement keycaps.

I might buy a Model M or F sometime but I might have to have the model F modded because I'm terrible at soldering despite I used to fix/recable headphones, which is ironic-ish.

I don't really use english as my primary or secondary language so I apologize for any mistakes!

Yellow - nice :)

Model M or F would be great - everyone says the F is better, but you can start with an M and just get a SDL to USB cable, or a PS/2 to USB adaptor and just plug and type.

If you're used to the JP layout, does that mean you're Japanese? or just somewhere that uses ISO?

Thanks! Although I think i will be immune to those, heh. The HHKB and 108KT is more than enough!

Hi!  Sounds like you're off to a great start!  :)  I hope you're able to own a Model M or Model F soon, they are quite nice.  ;)

An SSK would be an expensive option just to try!

I was lucky and found two full size Model M for just over $30.  A little bit of cleaning, a couple of extra keycaps, and one of them was good to go (the other needs a bolt mod and a few more keycaps).

Now I know I like them, and I'd really like an SSK!
