Hey there! I've used some mechanical keyboards in the past, but only recently had an interest in buying one.

I'm fascinated by the wide array of possible options!

I think for my first mechanical keyboard, I'd try to get my hands on a nice 84 key, like a KC Hero 84 with cherry MX switches or Choc Mini.  I've read that the choc mini is ruined by bad firmware that doens't play well with Macs or BIOSes though... so we'll see.  Also, apparently I'm late to the party, because I can't seem to find granite keycaps around anymore haha.

Anyways, I hope to be joining an active and interesting community!

If you hang around the classfieds section you might see some granites pop up, but you'll probably also a lot of other stuff you weren't looking for so it might be a good idea to stay away lol

You've missed both Granite GBs, although there are rumours of a third round somewhere.  Maybe.  Possibly.  Or possibly not.

Is it the colour of Granite you like, or the profile?  If the classic colour, Ivan has a GMK group buy that is nearly finished ordering.  Cherry profile though.
