Greetings from Adelaide Australia
« on: Tue, 27 January 2015, 21:01:28 »
Hi everyone. I am interested in buying trading mechs and keycaps with my fellow Australians. So i figured i better introduce myself and contribute a few posts instead of lurking, pretty long time lurker. For anyone interested i currently typing on a focus 2001 white alps. I also have a ducky premier with grey/blue dyesubs and i have a mini v60 with blues coming soon. Hope this alright for my first post.
Here are an album each of my ducky and my focus, enjoy!

Welcome to GH mate!
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

Welcome to Geekhack!

I grew up in Adelaide :)

That's a nice keyboard tray you have there - did you make it yourself?

FMC - brings back a few memories :))
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Yep its made of pine and coated with some varnish. I like to keep myself busy with little projects :)

I am very fond of it, the caps are especially nice to type on.
