I guess that explains why my shipping label was created 5 days ago with nary a move since. Another potential problem this could create is that the USPS might take issue with you printing labels that far back but not getting them in the mail stream. Don't get me wrong, I want a complete set and never have to worry about it again, but I don't want yet another can of worms to potentially be opened here.
Also, I hope that you're also printing a scan sheet along with all the labels. For those who don't know, a scan sheet takes all the tracking numbers from a bulk shipment and creates one bar code for the postal employee to scan. Once scanned, every package that was part of that shipment will show as "accepted," which is the first step in tracking. It's a massive time saver.
