New frenchie

Hi guys,
I'm a Model M enthusiast from France.
I've 4 model Ms (being an IBMer son and IBMer contractor is helping), 2 Lexmark made ones (1995 - AZERTY), 1 IBM earlier model M (grey plastic logo) and one (found in a bin, still boxed...) QWERTY 42H1292 :)

I've been using them since nearly 20 years now, still work like a charm (except one, upcoming post :) ), and still my favorite keyboard ever.

I, too, love the Model M. There are several here who relish the buckle of a spring, whether F or M. Feel free to browse around, join in the conversation, and ask questions when you have them. :)

Hi,
never had any issue with the plastic rivets but I bolted one I needed to open due to a short, following a liquid leak inside the keyboard :)

Yep, they really are amazing keyboards.  You can find them in the worst condition and bring them back to life!  Welcome!
