KPB v60 matias issues
« on: Mon, 02 February 2015, 13:22:08 »
I recently got a KPB v60 matias. I love this damn thing. The only thing I changed in the key profile was to turn on the bottom (5-6) dip-switches which changes around the bottom right function, alt, and adds win/ctrl rather than page up/down.

This morning, I noticed that my right shift key was lit. To be honest, I didn't even know that that key had an led indicator .... In any case, I didn't really think much of it until I noticed that my right side ctrl, win, fn, and alt keys appeared to have reverted back to page keys ...almost as if the dip-switches had not been turned on. I tried un-flipping the switches, and I unplugged it and re-plugged it in (to no avail).

Has anyone ever seen this? I can't help but feel as if i must have just kit something on the keyboard....Help a nub out :)

That light means that the four keys in the bottom right corner of the keyboard are functioning as an arrow key cluster. This can be toggled by fn + enter, which you probably hit without realizing (happens to me all the time).
Unfortunately for you, your only function key is now an arrow key, so you cannot toggle back.
I'd recommend using dip-switches 1 and 2 to add a second fn to the left side of the keyboard. I really like fn in the caps lock position(dip-switch 1 on), but you might have a different preference.

Hah! yeah, I ended up flipping 5-6 back off, so that i had a fn key again. I was then able to turn it back. Thank you for the reply!
