Howdy everyone, I'm reliKBORG lured here from r/mk while looking for accessories for my new Poker 2.

This looks like a great community and I look forward to being part of it!

Welcome to GH! Poker 2 is a solid choice :). What switches are in it? And what kind of accessories are you looking for?

I purchased one with MX-whites, and from posts on this forum I found a awesome metal case, and I ordered a keyset from signature plastics.  This poker will be the mobile to complement my Max Nighthawk X8 with mx-browns.

Cool what key set did you get? I just built a JD40 with modified Whites and I still have a Pure with MX Whites. I really like that switch.

And how are you liking the Nighthawk? I've heard very little about it.

I got in on the midnight keyset with the Twilight modifiyers http://www.pimpmykeyboard.com/deals/midnight-alpha-base-kit/ , i also picked up zinc wasd keys and a oh **** escape key from signature plastics.  The max is nice, though I am thinking of upgrading it as well, its kind of a universal build with a standard case, the browns are nice, and I liked I could get it from amazon. Mods on it, I desolderd the windows key and got custom keycaps for arrow keys and wasd in pbt ds black with red.  The replacement I am thinking of for the max is the Ergodox, where I will go with mx-whites.

And I need to try out this Nighthawk for myself stuff...one day.

Is the post count on this site broken? You can see that relikborg definitely has more than 0 posts based on this thread alone yet it shows to be nothing.

Welcome to Geekhack!

Poker with whites - not very common.  In fact not many keyboards with white switches at all (clear is a different story).

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
