I hope it goes to a member of GH or reddit rather than some random person who's just going to flip it.
I listened to the live video feed earlier and they were talking about how there aren't very many consistent contributors on this site - it's because of stuff like this. I was hesitant to join and even more nervous about posting because of all the unwritten rules that exist here, but even more so because of all the animosity towards reddit from heavy posters like yourself. There is not nearly as much open hatred of GH on r/mk - most of it is from one guy.
Obviously the two communities are different, but it seems to me that all of the hostility stems from u/ripster and no matter what happened with him here that's no reason to generalize all of r/mk. The main difference is that people on reddit are new to mechanical keyboards (generally), if people here were more welcoming, more r/mk users would come over and be able to use the awesome knowledge base that exists on GH. Those people would learn and eventually be able to contribute new stuff, which would benefit everyone.
Really though I rarely see anything about GH on reddit, but everyday I'm here someone talks **** about r/mk - if you want new users then it needs to stop. I'm sorry I don't mean to create a flame war on this thread which is full of generosity for both groups but this is like the third time today I've seen something like that on here.
