Anyone used/seen/own this?

http://www.dsi-keyboards.com/keyboard/item.php?id=10

I'm intrigued by the layout (although the big enter/small backspace sucks). Getting a 104 key board but still having the mouse so close seems appealing. Also claims cherry switches, but as far as I can see doesn't specify which ones.

It's for sale here: http://www.notestation.com/left.htm for $124, which is a bit much for me to buy before I try (or talk to someone that has).

Sweet thanks for the link.

Debating whether I can live with the enter/backspace/backslash layout. Wish I had the scratch to custom design my layout and have MsKeyboard make it to order, but requires a minimum of 50 units. Don't suppose there are 49 other dvorak users here? ;)

Some use Colemak, and the majority still use QWERTY.

Why do so many Alps boards have the 'backwards-L' style enter key?

Somehow this apparently managed to become the standard in Southeast Asia, Taiwan and Korea in particular. It also saves lazy manufacturers from having to do different Enter keys and board layouts for ISO and ANSI layouts.
Hardware in signatures clutters Google search results. There should be a field in the profile for that (again).

This message was probably typed on a vintage G80-3000 with blues. Double-shots, baby. :D

The backwards "L" Enter keys were pretty common back in the day.  Even my 1995 Northgate has one.  It's never really bothered me much, though.  I hardly ever use the |\ key, anyway, and Northgate put it by the right Shift leaving the large backspace.

MsKeyboard has them in blue cherry (#1 in the switch poll) for cheaper - $99.  If you do buy make sure you get it from her.  Otherwise I think she'll punch the nearest Geekhacker.

(Which is worse, necro'ing a thread or starting a new thread?)

Does this mean it normally has switches besides blue cherry? I'd be intrigued if they had either brown or red. The enter/backspace keys are kosher with me.

The black varietal, KB-DS-8861XPU-B-V2, is on sale here, http://www.notestation.com/left.htm, for $95.

If there's a definitive thread on a topic I'd rather it be reused unless it's already got too many pages and you'd rather focus on some tangent. You could just link to other posts in your thread, maybe. Reuse seems appropriate for many timeless things discussed here. GH is fairly [strike]spammy[/strike]laid back either way it seems..
