Comparing Ergo Clears to Matias Quiet Clicks

For the last couple of months I have considered the 62g Ergo Clear the ultimate switch for me. Although I haven't used one, I have used stock clears and Light Cherry Spring Clears, and it appears that a midpoint between these two switches would be very enjoyable. However, recently, I have been playing around with Matias switches, and the Quiet Click has really grown on me. Here are some of the reasons I like it.

• Reduced Travel: I know that I type faster on switches with shorter travel, and even though I enjoy Cherry Blues I am as fast, if not faster on cheap low profile rubber domes. I put this down simply to the lower travel distance.
• Tactile Bump closer to the top of the stroke: This seems to be another nice feature that I feel would help me learn to type without bottoming out.
• Slightly smaller and less protracted tactile bump: Although I like the tactility of clears, I feel that especially with a lighter spring the large and prolonged tactile bump may be a bit much.
• Very quiet: after cherry blues, I would like a board that is quieter, for use when listening to a film or simply to not annoy everyone within a 10 mile radius.

Both of these switches seem to be a similar weight; at least, the quiet click feels like what I would expect 62g to feel like in terms of weight. So users of both switches, which do you prefer, and why? Is the quiet click similar to ergo clears, and what are the benefits / downsides of each?

I like the quiet click more, though I heard it is less "durable" than MX.  They are pretty new, so we will see in a few years if they are still good.

The issue with ALPS and ALPS Clones is...not many good layouts, not much support, hard to find keycaps (especially thick GOOD ones).  But I personally believe that they are overall better than MX.

I like modding, though.  So I roll MX.

I've been really close to pulling the trigger on the Infinity on MD with Matias Quiet Clicks all weekend.  Just so much $$ for a non-standard layout with non-MX stems.  But, they have a good set of caps as an option now...
