Fix a warped PCB?
« on: Mon, 02 March 2015, 09:30:30 »
Is there any way to fix a warped PCB?

I have a 60% keyboard pcb that has a pretty noticeable bend in the backspace area, even with a steel plate, it still bends quite a bit.

Is there any good way to fix a warped pcb?

It could also be the way its mounted in the case, possibly the screws are too tight.
But i'm at work and just noticed it, and don't have a screwdriver handy.

Check the screws and the way it's mounted first. The PCB itself is usually made of some kind of fiberglass/epoxy/etc. and can't really be bent back into shape or anything.
