just a heads up, filcos never came in stark white, any white ones you might find will be one of those 90s beige-whites.

You can buy an IBM 5140 off ebay if you want brown Alps, they're fairly common

Indeed! I've been looking for one to come up for a decent price, but I can't justify the 300+ that most of them ask for a buy it now. It appears that a handful came up around September for around $50 + shipping (under completed listings). AND as I was responding to this I checked to see that there was one up for $125 shipped so I pulled the trigger, more than I wanted to spend but not terribly priced. Anyway, thanks JQ for making me look on ebay today.

That bag is dope too. Free vintage bags certainly don't hurt. And as far as thread derailment, I think GMK Cyan on the aftermarket is pretty much wishful thinking so derail away!

They are delicious! And no one has even grabbed the white/purple/grey set yet, and I'm fairly certain those are the only ones like that.
