I really need help with my Poker 2
« on: Sat, 14 March 2015, 12:46:22 »
So I bought a poker 2 from a guy, and I feel like something is really messed up software wise. I press shift to do a capital, and it acts like a caps lock key, the windows key does the same, the actual caps lock key seems to do absolutely nothing. I tried that factory reset thing (Function and R untill the space bar flashes etc) but it didn't change anything. I dont have the user manual and I really just want this keyboard to act normally. Can anyone help?

Sounds like you should look at the DIP switch settings on the bottom of the board. It will help also if you get a copy of the manual to explain the DIP settings. If you Google for a Poker II manual you will find it quickly.

I found a guide, also I switched all the dip switches that were on to off, and nothing changed. Tried switching them all on, same result.

You should read what each setting does and make sure it is set how you expect. Then, also follow the instructions on how to factory reset the board. That is also in the manual. If the previous owner programed the board that should Clear those settings.

Yes, switching capslock and win is a DIP switch setting. You need to read the manual. Factory reseting instructions are in the manual, you don't need to know how to program it to factory reset it. Though, you should know how to do this just so you understand how to use it.
