N52te Mod Correct Switches?
« on: Mon, 23 March 2015, 06:28:38 »
I picked up and nice deal on a Belkin n52te on eBay, but I don't like the feel of the keys. I want to do the mod with cherry MX Reds, but I want to make sure I'm picking up the right switches, with the correct number of pins or connectors, or whatever.

These are on eBay for a reasonable price:

10pcs CHERRY MX Series key Switches red Axis shaft 3 pin original mechanical

I will of course also need to brush up my rusty soldering skills. :P

Thanks,
Phiz

Better value and you know they're the right ones:

Buying more keycaps,
it really hacks my wallet,
but I must have them.

Well, crap. I didn't see that you responded and I already ordered a set. Are they not the right ones?

Well, I was able to cancel the ebay order. Best to make sure before I waste money. Lol
