Well i'm glad I went to apple this year because I also have a nexus 5 and I have to tell ya ... Android L is terrible.
They made tried to make it nicer and more intuitive but now it's just a former shell of itself. Also it's extremely buggy and unstable now.
Memory leaks everywhere also.

Other people have to fix android with custom roms :p
Also android 5 is an unprecedented level of restricted when it comes the the custom developer community
