[WTT/WTB] Missing Retro DSA Keycaps
« on: Mon, 04 May 2015, 12:14:26 »
As the logistics man for the Retro DSA group buy, I ended up with a whole bunch of spares and extra sub-kits, but not actually a single complete set for myself.

So I tried to populate a smaller keyboard -- my JD45 -- and still I was short.

What I need:
[EDIT2]
Actually, if you have some of the keycaps I want OR have a different full set of DSA alphas and extras that I can use on my JD45, let me know.  Because in addition to the Retro DSA spares I have an semi-incredible amount of keyboards, keycaps, and keyboard-related items in my collection, much of it unused.
[/EDIT2]
 - Deep disk F
 - Flat (normal) E, T
 - 1.00 NUM LOCK
 - 1.75 ENTER
 - TWO 1.75 blank keycaps
 - Number Pad kit (or at least the plain numbers 1-9, and the 2.00-sized zero and ENTER)

What I have:

 - All the spacebars you could ever want
 - Deep dish N,H,U,E,T; Flat F, J
 - ISO kits
 - 1.00, 1.25, 1.50 special kits
 - Gray function key kits
 - Custom Green and Burgandy specials
 - 1.00, 1.50, 2.00 blanks, including different post configurations for the 2.00 blanks
 - 1.00 relengendable keycaps and clear tops
 - And a bunch of others; just ask

[EDIT]
After processing thirty thousand of these keycaps, here is proof I still have some in my possession today.
[/EDIT]

(Also a smaller amount of Nuclear Data Green keycaps in green and orange.)

My goal here is to TRADE KEYCAPS to fill my JD45.  And since I know that many buyers got replacement keycaps from me after the main shipments, I know they must have extra wrong ones.

So if you have some of the keycaps I need, AND want some of the keycaps I have, please send me a PM.

TL;DR for the hearing impaired. I do NOT have any full sets of Retro DSA for sale.  I do have a bunch of spares and specials, and want to trade for a few specific keycaps I am missing.

Thanks to one and all!

I like keyboards and case modding.  Everything about a computer should be silent -- except the KEYBOARD!

Hey I’m very happy to see you back Ron!

I don’t have what you need, so this post is only to indicate interest in some of your stuff, should you decide to sell or trade for other things after you’ve gotten what you needed. Am interested in the relegendables, some Nuclear Datas, spacebars.

Really hope that GH36 can be finished in a timely manner…
Most of the modding can be done on your own once you break through the psychological barriers.

Do you by any chance have the Retro green Esc key?  I don't have your wants though but if we can work something out let me know.

I think I may have some extras you need. Its late though and I have work in the morning. If you are still looking tomorrow night, I'll see what I need and what I have. I'm pretty sure I at least have a deep dish f and blanks, and I need burgundy modifiers

Update and Thanks!

The sad JD45 with gaps in its teeth.

Well I got lots of nice notes, and even some of the keycaps I need.  So at the moment I am still looking for:

 - Deep disk F
 - Flat (normal) E
 - 1.75 ENTER

Some further replies below.

Thanks again!

(Auto-sig missing because I stole the Retro DSA 'caps from my GH-36.)

I will check.  If you are in the US it is trivial to send.  PM me your address.

Yes, thank you very much!  I'll send you a PM

I don't have a PM from you.

I only have deep dish F from your updated list after comparing with PMK

I'm still pretty new to this and I'm trying to complete a 60%.

I figure showing the burgundy keys I have may be the easiest way to figure out what I need. I don't have a 60% to stick them on right now.

UPDATE:

I am now (in theory) missing:
- Flat (normal) E
 - Numpad 5

Thanks to all (especially M@SP) who dug through their keycaps to help!

(You have two ALT keycaps))
1.25 WIN or C=
