QFR PCB inside a KUL ES-87 case?
« on: Wed, 06 May 2015, 12:22:14 »
anyone know if this would work?
was thinking of making my jailhouse blues QFR a little prettier and I like these cases + their price.

if it won't work well... I'd love some recommendations for cheaper cases :p

thanks!

Why not just swap the switches over to the KUL PCB?

^ That.

The stock plate and PCB of the KUL has 4 holes where the standoffs pass through. Unless you plan on drilling 4 holes in your stock QFR PCB and plate, I don't see it working.

yeah I noticed that, Binge showed some photos of the KUL and QFRs disassembled.

I don't have a KUL, but the cases are available from EK for $30 or so - which is why I was wondering. :p

thanks guys

it won't work

KUL case is too big, and the mounting screws are in the wrong place
