Keyboard advice. Leopold/Noppoo.
« on: Thu, 07 May 2015, 20:22:10 »
Hello,

My name is GarBar Inc, Nice to meet everyone. I have only recently signed up to get so advice on a purchase on some foreign keyboards that a
lot of the users on this forum use day to day. Most of the keyboards I am asking advice on I have just recently discovered (60%) and found out
there is a huge community for AKA Geekhack. I mostly use my keyboard to play Moba's and light work and school. I have been looking at these
keyboards for a little over 3 weeks and have had very little success deciding. So I am hoping you will be able to help me.  I am also open to new
Suggestions as long as they are compact. I want to thank every single user who replies in advance. Thank you and have a great rest of your day/night
[/size].

Option 1: Noppoo Nano 75-S.
---I can't really find any first hand experience posts with the keyboard listed above. I like the compact size of the keyboard however I dislike the
font of the Keys. Another major selling point is the price of the keyboard. $90 with Free shipping from Corus Keyboards. Is this keyboard as durable
(Flights/Travel/Kids)? However does the general feel of keyboard seem to the average user? Is it comfortable to use for 3-4 Hours?

Option 2: Leopold FC660M
--- This is by far one of the best looking keyboards I have ever seen. However the Price is turning me off. It would cost ~$135 Shipping Included
from Qtan. I would like to know is the $45 price increase really worth it. Is this keyboard as durable (Flights/Travel/Kids)? However does the general
feel of keyboard seem to the average user? Is it comfortable to use for 3-4 Hours?

Some games make great use of the "F" row of keys.  Maybe look at the Choc mini http://corus-kb.com/31-choc-mini-84 instead of the 60%?  I have no idea how people don't find a 60% board annoying for lack of things like page up/down, arrow keys, etc. YMMV

I've been using a choc mini for over a year now and its been nothing but fantastic!  Haven't used a Leopold but they are supposed to be solid boards.
