Need help identifying sender of gracious gift
« on: Sat, 16 May 2015, 11:26:27 »
So a couple of days ago I got a big unexpected package. I opened it, and there was an Amiga 2000 with vintage blacks and doubleshot caps!!! And I swear I have no recollection of ever buying such a keyboard, and I figure, what are the chances that someone would send me something like this? Also, they put a J in my name instead of an I which I found odd, because if I had paid for something like this through PayPal it would've given them my name (Ion) as opposed to Jon.

*EDITED* he lives in Chicago *EDITED*. I would be guessing that he would be attending the Chicago KeyCon right now, so maybe you guys can help me find him and thank him for this awesome gift. I'm still baffled as how it got to me to begin with.

Thank you for your help!

(And of course if it was a mistake and not a gift, I will send back the board)

This benefactor is in fact Geniekid! :) I sent you an email.

Well Cpt was selling some cheaper keyboards and I believe he's at the keycon now? Unless I'm thinking of the wrong person

The awesome character's name is Eugene S. (not going to identify his last name), he lives in Chicago on Michigan Ave. I would be guessing that he would be attending the Chicago KeyCon right now, so maybe you guys can help me find him and thank him for this awesome gift. Well it has to be someone who had your address already. But that person could have ordered the board from Eugene S. and had it shipped directly to you.

Yea but they sent it to a name I haven't used in a long time (nor do I think I used that name online too much).
