So as you may or may not know Haata, one of the members here at Geekhack, runs and organizes monthly meet ups that he attaches his "Kiibohd" moniker to. They are usually held somewhere along the Bay Area at an office or meeting place. In the past with the hospitality of members such as Samwisekoi, Nuclearsandwich, and Lekashman, we have been able to visit amazing places like Github and Massdrop.
However we are always looking for other places to visit and add to our rotation of places to meet up. It would be quite unfair to some of these people and their offices if we showed up once a month and took advantage of their hospitality.
So I am reaching out to all the Geekhack members of the Bay Area to help either 1) offer their own spaces as potential meet up places or 2) help me brainstorm potential places around the Bay so that we can continue to meet up
Some preferences:
1) Can accommodate ~25-30 people
2) Easily accessible for people who take public transport
3) Tables to display our lovely keyboards
4) In an area free of discriminatory practices
5) Free parking for cars/bikes
