An all-55g Topre Realforce 87U board is now up for auction on US Ebay.

The auction info doesn't clearly show whether it has the Korean characters on the keycaps, nor the exact model number.

So he re-sold it right after I sold it back to him?  Guess he didn't want it for personal use after all.

Hmmm, if the price won't get as high this time I might place a bid for it.

Oh come on... That would be another Topre going to the fanboys.

Not to worry though, if the early bidding continues this one will probably exceed my set price range by the end of the auction.

Yea I guess you could call me a fan of the Topre boards. I mean I have 6 of them now and would like to get a few more but now I'm only interested in getting either another HHKB Pro or something that is different than what I have. By different I really mean key weight or layout. In this particular case I don't have a 55g full stroke keyboard. I do have a short stroke 55g Topre which is what makes me want to try it.

Oh I don't know if I would call my self a fanboy because I do like other switches as well. But I do love the Topre's. But it is true I'm the only one going out of my way to find some of the Topre's you can only get in Japan. I guess I just don't like the term fanboy.

Sigh, price is already up to $100+. Some Ebayers clearly don't know how to save their wallets.

No sympathy from me.  I had to shell out $256 + shipping for mine which I purchased from EliteKeyboards.com.

Not surprising considering what is up for sale.

This particular keyboard is a little different than the one you got from EliteKeyboards and costs about $100 more new + shipping from Korea which makes it about a $400 dollar keyboard. That is why I was not at all surprised that it went over $200 last time to bad the buyer did not cough up the cash. If I had the money right now I would bid on it and as long as it stays under $300 it would be a good deal.

I just noticed that stlensbar is once again selling new all-55g 87U's on Ebay.  They're up to $380, but shipping is now included.

That sounds about right. The keyboard it self is about $330 in Korea and it costs about $50 bucks to ship it to the US.
