I thought this was interesting:
"In a 2004 Internet poll sponsored by the BBC and the British Association for the Advancement of Science, Beaker and Dr. Bunsen Honeydew were voted Britain's favourite cinematic scientists. They beat Mr. Spock, their closest rival, by a margin of 2 to 1 and won 33 percent of the 43,000 votes cast."

More proof that The Muppets rule.  I was very excited for their Disney Channel reprisal, Studio D.C., Almost Live, but only two episodes have aired.  A third was advertised, but hasn't materialized.  :(  What has aired is quite good--think The Muppet Show with Muppets Tonight and a little bit of Sesame Street antics mixed in.

statler and waldorf heckling on conan:
http://www.tonightshowwithconanobrien.com/video/clips/statler-and-waldorf-heckle-obama-091809/1158890/

they have a youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/heckleu247

apparently there are talks about reviving the muppet show (apparently FOX has been interested), and the internet channel is part of that 'revival' of interest.  I say bring 'em back :) They'd be more entertaining than the dumb wall to wall reality shows we've got right now.

Here's what some network should do. Put the new muppet show on at 10pm across from jay leno's new show. I bet the muppets would trounce him :)

I would like to see a new Muppet show.  I would like to see it on another channel, though (PBS?).  I hate network TV.  The only show I watch in network TV is 24, everything else (and maybe even 24) is crap, IMO.
