How to prevent cherry PCB mount stabilizers being coming off from PCB

Pulling modifier keycaps may popup the stabilizers.
Here is a way to prevent it but how to do it (please see the stabilizer mount next to GON's signature)?

Put in a toothpick, clip it off with pliers or whatever.
