I have a few items up for sale. Prices are with shipping already included and you could pay by PayPal or with Credit/Debit for no additional fee.  Continental US at this time.

Matias Ergo Pro PC version
I only used this keyboard for 5 days so it is like new.
$175 shipped $160 shipped$150 shipped - Sold to shrubkeys

Realforce 87u Topre 30g
I originally purchased this keyboard from EliteKeyboard as a variable weight version, but modded it to all 30g for the deluxe and less fatiguing typing experience. The keys are in excellent condition. The following extra keys are also included along with their originals: Red Escape, Red Arrows, Lavender WASD and Extra New Space Bar, plus key cap puller.
$240 shipped $225 shipped  Sold to Pretendgnome

CM NovaTouch TKL
Great keyboard but some of the keys show signs of wear.  Not a big deal though because there is a good chance that anyone looking at buying a NovaTouch is already thinking of replacing the keycaps.  All of the original o-rings and keycap puller are included.
$135 shipped - Sold to tr4656

RollerMouse Red
Only used for about a week, so it is like new.  This is 10x better than the RollerMouse Free2.  Solid build and super smooth.
$150 shipped - Sold

I swapped the membrane with another board.  More specifically, with an 89s, which is all 30g.  That is the only way to do it.  You have to have a donor board.

The OP hasn't been active since September 10th, so perhaps he hasn't had time to get on and check them?

Good customer experience. Very friendly and polite, may be a bit too formal. =p

Thanks for the keyboard!

What switches are in the Matias?

The switches are "Matias Quiet Click".  They are very nice. They feel more tactile than mx browns and have a shorter travel.

Bummer.  I was hoping for the linears.  How heavy do they feel say in comparison to the Cherry browns or reds or blues?

They actually feel lighter.  To me the mx Reds on a standard keyboard felt heavier due to the constant need to bottom out because the lack of tactile feedback.  The only keyboard that the Reds worked better than the Browns was on the Kinesis Advantage, because of the angle the switches were on.  This made the Browns feel extra ruff while the Reds were smoother.  But the best keys for less pain and fatigue are Topre 30g's.  These matias switches would be my next choice though.  I just didn't like the fact that they went with a non matrix layout on a split keyboard.

I saw your post before.  I too have issues with my wrists, which is why I have been on a quest to find the ultimate ergo keyboard. I am a software developer, so I have to type for a living.  And to me it's all about having the least amount of fatigue and having the most comfort.  I have also tried using the Microsoft Ergo boards, both the older 4000 one and the newer wireless Sculpt but didn't like either.  The 4000 had a great layout but the keys were horrible.  Many keys would bind causing me to press harder to get the key to register.  As for the Sculpt, I didn't like the keys or the layout.   For someone that is into the Microsoft Ergo boards, the Matias Ergo pro is a great choice because the similar layout and superior key switches.  Another option for your brother would be the GoldTouch V2 Adjustable Comfort keyboard.  I actually ordered one to hold me over while the Matias Ergo Pro was shipped to me, but the seller sent me the mobile version which had a different layout and keys.  The construction and adjust-ability were great though.

So based on what you thought of the MS boards, which my brother's hands seem to like, do you think the Matias would be similar enough that he'd get the benefit of the MS form factor and the Matias switches?

He would have to make some adjustments to his typing style.  For example on the MS Ergo you would press the 6 key with the left index finger but on the Matias Ergo Pro you use your right index finger.  Also if he uses the right Control it would be tough because it is missing on the Ergo Pro.  And some of the keys on MS Ergo 4000 are larger than on the Matias Ergo Pro.

Let me see which MS board he's using at the moment.  I know he's a hardcore keyboard like I am so that ctrl might be a dealbreaker as being tkl.

He's using the MS sculpt at work, which actually is TKL and he likes the short travel of the keys, but hates the tilt on it as it's not high enough in the back.  He uses this a lot as he needs to go back and forth to meetings.  He's got the MS Natural Elite at home.  How's the MS Ergo 4000 compared to these two?

I liked the layout and the large keys of the MS Ergo 4000, it makes it easier to type on.  The real issue it has though are the keys having to be pressed at a precise spot for them to go down otherwise they would stick.  This cause some pain as you could imagine.  The keys that normally behaved this way for me were the space bar and the larger keys.  The actuation force also seemed a bit high for me.

Interesting.  Now I know while he's got some spare Elites at home.  When something is supposed to be ergonomic that type of scratchiness is completely ridiculous.
