Hi,

I'm mainly a R/MK user but I thought a mech enthusiast should really have a GH account. I have a store which caters to UK clackers and I'm currently running a group buy for ANSI and ISO Tai Hao PBT keycaps, I'll post about it in the GB sub-forum when I meet the new thread criteria for that forum.

Anyway nice to be here

Cheers!

quick search on taobao.

Yeah these cases look like they're from the same manufacturer

Luckily my goal was never to compete with China

EDIT: I wanna post in the GB forum about my Tai Hao PBT group buy but I can't atm, what's the criteria to be able to make a new post there?

Welcome to Geekhack!

I've seen a few of your posts around the forum - good to see that you are making yourself known :)

I recently got the Tai Hao PBT from Massdrop, black and orange too!  They are great - OEM profile, but I knew that in advance.  They are nicely textured, and a reasonable contrast between the keycaps and the legends.

Good luck with your GB - it sounds like people want more ISO-compliant group buys.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
