Howdy Errbody

Hey people of geekhack! Like most I have been perusing these forums for awhile. For ideas, new boards, and the like.

Most recently my setup has been a CM Storm stealth (which recently went on the fritz) I haven't had time to repair it. I am looking into getting a new board. Any one have suggestions? I am looking for a 60% board. I would like to acquire a KMAC Happy, could anyone help me with getting my hands on one or point me in the right direction?

Some info about me. I am a software engineer for a call information and marketing company. (Not the people who robo dial you, just the people and software that let the business's know that you are calling the info about you so they can make sales to you)

I am really looking for that niche 60% setup, one to make the other keyboard enthusiasts in the office envious and the help out my own setup. Since my CM Storm died I have been on one of those flat key, apple full keyboards. This low profile life is BS!

Anyways that is enough for now. Sayonara all and thanks for any help in suggestions or leads on KMAC Happys.   :D

Welcome to Geekhack!

If you want a mainstream 60%, you can't go wrong with a Poker (or P3ker, whatever they call version 3).

Second choice would be a Ducky Mini.

They are both standard layout, so keycap replacement is a breeze, should you choose to do so.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
