Wow that is a great find.  I have an UltraSharp from 2008 that I still use.  It is starting to show some vertical ribbons on the right hand side that go away once the monitor has warmed up.  I remember paying something like $500 for it.

I lost touch with what all the model numbers mean, like the U2412M or U2412H or whatever they are now.  It doesn't appear to be the best for fast paced gaming with the 60Hz refresh rate and I don't think it has G-Sync.  I imagine it would still do pretty well on slower paced games like Dark Souls, Metro, and City Skylines as examples.
