[WTS] Unicomp Model M with 2 Cap sets, USB adapter. $80 OBO.
« on: Fri, 24 July 2015, 12:55:14 »
Won this keyboard from GH Meme contest a while back, but I find I prefer my Cherry G80, and my washer broke so I need cash.

It's a nice board with two key cap sets, one beige, one grey. Looks nice mixed as a two-tone. Manufactured in 2006. Would like to keep in the GH family and send to a good home.

Including PS/2 to USB adapter.

I might be interested, depending on what switches they have. :D

Photos of Mac Keyboards added, more in this thread:

I really AEK with the light orange (salmon?) switches, but a couple of the letters don't work when I use the USB adapter (right hand side if I remember) - not sure if it's the keyboard or the adapter. If I had the time I'd look into getting that working or using a Teensy on it - it's a sweet board.

Oh and I don't have any price in mind for the Mac keyboards, just make an offer.

That whitish alps, is that cream or alps? If it's cream I'd be down to take it. Is $20 + shipping fair or too low?

I think it's cream. (see incredibly dirty up close photo below)

Are you going to just pull the switches or plan to use the board? I can also throw in my iMate if you want it. $25 plus shipping and you got a deal.

Yeah that looks cream to me :3 What board is it?

And sure $25 sounds fair. What's an iMate?

iMate is the USB adapter. Like I said with this adapter (the only test I have done with the board), a couple of the keys on the right side don't work, so it may need repairs.

It's the Apple Extended Keyboard. It's huge, very yellowed, and awesome.

Awesome! you got yourself a deal :) By right side do you mean the numpad?
Also, how much is shipping to Canada, postal code V6X 1M1?

Shipping won't be cheap. I'll look tomorrow but the cheapest is normally like $25.

Cool. Let me know. I guess it all depends on the shipping. Might not be able to do it if it's too expensive.

Cheapest shipping is UPS 28.89  USD.

Still interested? Could also throw the other 2 apple keyboards in for you to try out for maybe another $10.
