Hello!
« on: Mon, 17 August 2015, 04:42:15 »
I have come to blow my fat wads of dosh.

Most recent board: Pok3r w/ MX Clears. Using PBT Vortex blue letter white caps dyesub.

My other boards are all mostly being used for testing/scrap. Awaiting a KC60 from MD and looking at a Topre board maybe.

Edit: excuse the messy desk, at work with unassigned seating (Chat tech at a hosting company) and it's gross no matter how much I clean.

It's actually the LEDs for the Poker's various programming layers. Layer 1 is blue, layer 2 is blue, layer 3 is both which has a nice purple color.

Welcome to Geekhack!

White keyboards are great - there seem to be more keycap sets that go well with white keyboards :)

All I can see on the desk is a few cables.  That's nothing compared to my desk ;)

You've come to the right place to spend all your money - they don't call it Wallethack for nothing :p
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
