Tea, Earl Grey, Hot
« on: Sun, 23 August 2015, 06:36:37 »
I'm relatively new to mechanical keyboards, less than two years of use. I started on Cherry MX Green, then went to Clears, then Blacks, and recently am trying out Reds. I'm not sure which I prefer between Blacks and Reds yet, but I definitely like linear the most.

Looking to learn more in the years to come.

Make it so,
CaptainPicard

Welcome to Geekhack!

Quite a difference between blacks and reds - I much prefer blacks, reds are waaay too light for me.

Which keyboard/s have you tried these switches on?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Hello there!

Blacks are definitely super nice. Now just gotta try lubing them, for even more buttery experience.  :D
