Please read!These are pre-production samples that I acquired during the course of the long production process. I'm only selling the best samples and I will hand pick the best ones. They are all 100% functional and some people are already enjoying them.
I have a batch of A-grade black, white and blue spacebars. The final red spacebar will be probably more deep red.
First to order get the best samples (ie: best color matching, best surface texture, etc, ...), but be assured that all are very nice and working.
FAQHow do I place the new spacebar on my keyboard?More
The spacebars are fresh new! They are virgin and very tight, they need some break in. Proceed as follow.
Step 1: remove the 2 ALT keys at the sides of the original spacebar.
Step 2: apply gentle force to snap off the spacebar stabilizers, one at the time
Step 3: remove the spacebar from the center swtich. Be careful: there's a spring under the spacebar switch. Do not lose it!
Step 4: put the PBT spacebar in place starting from the center switch, then press firmly over the two stabilizers. When you think they snapped in, you probably need to press a little more until they click (it will be a little harder than an ABS spacebar)
At this point the spacebar is ready and you are good to go, if you want to complete the break-in process, remove the PBT spacebar and put it back in place. From this moment on they will behave like a standard Topre spacebar.

OH MY! I mixed them up! What can I do now?!More
If you mixed your ABS with the PBT one and you don't know which one is what, just look inside the keycap. The original one has some writings while the PBT has only construction marks.

How do they differ from the final product again?More
The red one will be probably darker, the others are basically the same. The production and packaging process will probably change to have less scratches, stains and sprue marks, but I'm hand picking the samples with no (or very little) defects.
