I've got a problem with my ergodox. Everything used to work fine, but after I transported it recently, the whole keyboard freezes when the left part is connected (so the right/controller parts works fine on its own).
After disconnecting the left part and waiting some seconds, the right parts works again. After disassembling the left half I noticed a bit of metal (solder?) between two legs of the MCP23018, but removing it didn't help.
Could it be, that I just fried that MCP? And is there a way to debug that teensy (to see why it just stops working, or if it fact reboots after removing the cable etc)?
