The auction titled model number is "PD-KB400WS". That's the corresponding model number for the type S HHKB. If the seller doesn't deliver the correct model, that is enough to open a case on the sale. eBay protection should cover this, or at least paypal, under not receiving the items that the seller claimed to sell.

Yes, you would be covered by eBay buyer protection, however, if you didn't live in the UK, you would be responsible for footing the return shipping cost. In order to force a refund, the item would have to be sent back with online viewable tracking and proof of delivery. For an international shipment, that can get very expensive. Even if the board turns out to be a standard HHKB, that was still a pretty good price. I personally wouldn't have taken a chance given the inept description, use of a stock photo, and the fact that the seller has a negative feedback mark on his record.

The one negative feedback is an order cancellation from the past 12 months. Not that bad IMO

PayPal can do courtesy refunds out of their pockets, but I'd say it's very unlikely they would do such a thing for a $130 item. Even if they agreed to it as a one-time deal, it wouldn't be worth it on this particular item. As I said, if the item turns out to be a standard HHKB, the final price is still a good deal, and you could easily flip it for a decent profit, especially if you don't put it back on eBay.
