New User!

;D Hello everyone. I made this account because:

1) My wallet is too heavy and

2) I'm looking for an artisan keycap to go with my blue gradient keycool set.

Hopefully i'll learn to navigate this website quickly, but if someone could send me in the right direction that'd be great. I've had my eye on a translucent blue gas mask, but anything blue would probably go nicely.
I have a Corsair k70 with cherry red switches and a Pok3r should be arriving tomorrow! I'm excited to be a part of the community.

Welcome to Geekhack!

You've come to the right place to lighten your wallet :p  I guess the word's out there now.

Gas Masks are made by Hot Keys Project, but are generally only available during limited sales.

Your best bet is to keep an eye on the vendor sub-forum linked above, and wait for the next sale.

Or browse through classifieds and see if anyone is selling one.

Once you meet the classifieds requirements (is it 2 months membership and 25 posts?) you can reate your own "want to buy" thread in classifieds.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Thanks guys! I'll keep a lookout for hkp and brocaps. Can't wait to get my hands on some artisans.
