Long time lurker here.
« on: Mon, 21 September 2015, 20:57:34 »
After lurking for a about half a year I decided to finally to make my debut post, thanks for my mechanical keyboard obsession btw  :p can hardly stand using rubber domes now.

Currently have a rosewill Helios with blue, a Compaq MX with Browns (current favorites) two ergodox one green and the other brown and a infinity ergodox that may or may not come before the end of this year.

Right now I'm looking to buy an ALPS keyboard, most likely an AT101W, and then Topre

Welcome to Geekhack!

That's a good selection you have started with!  And the upcoming list is impressive too!

But you seem to have forgotten about buckling springs   Something else to add to the list!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
