Hi guys. I'm from Brazil and new to geekhack.
I want to change my logitech g710+ for a new keyboard and after doing some research i discovered a "new world". It may sound silly but i never knew that there were keyboards made of different materials, changeable keycaps etc. For me all that existed was some popular brands with their main keyboards lines and you didin't have much to think when buying keyboards, except for switches, lights and stuff. Right know i'm really interested in buying the ducky shine 4. The problem is that it's too hard to get ducky keyboards from Brazil, if i really want to i'm gonna have to import it from U.S Amazon. I'm willing to do that since i like how compact, good looking (nice lightning effect is important for me) this keyboard is. Before my research my choices were: k70 rgb and blackwidow chroma, because it's easier to find here in Brazil, also i use my keyboard mainly for games like wow, dota2 etc.
Alright, after all that history my real question is, besides lightning effects and type of switches, what's the big difference between a ducky shine 4 and the k70, bw chroma? I mean, everywhere i read people say ducky built quality is way better and all, but isn't it still made of plastic (abs keycaps like the others)? Just want to know ta little better of his building materials since i've never really saw one. Sorry about my english and the big text. Thank you!
