If you prefer racing sim type games then you should pick up Project Cars, it's much better than Forza which IMO has only gotten more and more like burnout and Need For Speed with its simulation type stuff. I can't talk to the xbone version but the PC version is very nice
I bought project cars for PC hoping i did not have to buy an xbox one to play the new Forza. asked steam for a refund 3 days later. The only thing in the forza series that feels like NFS is the forza horizon games. I had a hard time finding people to play project cars with and usually found empty lobby's when i tried playing online.
+100...
But I still only play Forza 4 since I can't bring myself to buy Miscrosoft's newer spy machine. Switching to Asetto Corsa on PC for my fix.
Elaborate on the spy machine. Do you mean you dont like the kinect thing?
Well yeah. The "always-on and listening", the "kinect has to be connected at all times", the stupid DRM, etc. Sure, they removed a bunch of stuff in response to the fallout from the announcement, but their original intent has not changed. And with the release of Win10 you can see the direction the company is going in, with the user's data becoming more and more a core part of their business and profits. I just don't trust MS with a system in my living room that can record anything we do and say and send it to MS servers at the request of anyone in the US government. So, spy-machine.
...
I played the last Forza for 360 and it was horrible, the physics and car modeling was trash, idk how anyone could consider that anymore than a glorified NFS game tbh lol Project Cars is as close to a sim as you can realistically get without being forced to use a wheel at which point your playing iRacing.
Then you don't know squat about suspension and tire physics and how real cars react. Forza 4 simulates the behaviour of tires and suspension better than any other console title of it's era, including GT5. And I'm not just talking about the stock car models, you can tweak / swap / adjust / tune settings in the car setup and the differences are noticable and realistic. It's a very well researched and implemented engine.
"being forced to use a wheel..." Urm... you're talking about realism and you're not using a wheel? I guess that explains your preferences.
OP, if you like Forza you'll probably like Asetto Corsa:
