Does the Deutsch V2 actually exist?

I saw a picture of this cap like one time once, and I've wanted it ever since. I feel like it isn't actually real though, because I've never seen one anywhere else, and no matter how hard I search around the interwebs I can't find even a picture of one. Does anybody know around how many of these were made (if they even were)?
